The seas were rough. The global population was increasing like wild fire, and the demand for food was at an all time high. Unfortunately, there just wasn’t a fast way to get quality food to everyone. And because of this the ships were starting to become dirtier and dirtier. It came to a point where Rats and other creatures were getting onto the ships, eating and spoiling the food, and spreading their diseases from one side of the world to the other.
On one of the food transporting ships there was a group of rats that just so happened to be carrying a very deadly disease. The rats were dying in the food, contaminating the food with the deadly virus. Once the ships took the virus around the world it was spreading fast, too fast. This virus was one that we have never seen before. It could not be destroyed by fire, time, nothing.
Over the next several years in was killing millions of plants, animals, and humans. Nothing could stop it, so it ended up killing all and continued to surround the world for the next 100 million years.
When every little kid is born in my country, they automatically own a toy box just from being born. It has been a tradition for over 100 years now. They can choose to do whatever they please with it as they grow up. Some choose to keep it and collect toys as they grow older, and some choose to sell it. Some kids are not so fortunate as to buy or receive toys as kids. This seems to be a growing problem in this country and many people are looking past this fact every year! I see fundraisers happening all over for kids in other countries all the time but not enough attention goes to the kids in our country who aren’t so fortunate enough to get their own toys to put in their toy box.
Once there was a box of sharpies, everyone loved to draw and write with them. Orange slowly stated to become unwanted, no child nor teacher would want to use it. Sharpie users would mostly concentrate on the shades of blue, it was their favorite color, they didn’t want anyone to take theirs blue. It was there gold, they neglected the orange to make way for blue.
Everyone was drawing their absolute best drawings for the state art contest. When they submitted their drawings they were so confident they would win. When the judges took a look at their drawings they noticed there was no orange in them. They looked puzzle, and asked the students why they didn’t use orange. One of the students replied “Orange is a weird color it just doesn’t look right.”
There was people from across the state that had a lot of orange and no blue. The judges asked them the same question. They replied with the same answer as the students before them. The judges had a hard choice to make about the drawings. They said there was no winner because they both lacked color.
The students were upset by the ruling of the judges. One of the students said yelled something at the judges. They stud up and said “Everyone here lacked color, blue and orange isn’t ugly. they are beautiful color; every color is beautiful. Without them we would be living in black and white. There would be no vivid colors, everything would be plaid and boring. Difference is what makes this world great.”
My name is Bruce. I have been adopted and sold several times through out the past few years. Each time they take a look at me. The walk around feel my strong back but then when they arrive at the front they see a brown and fuzzy eye. My very first rider was a little girl named Alissa. She was 10 years old and just learning how to ride. As she was getting on my back she swung her leg wide and her spur had caught my eye. Now day to day I live just trying to make friends. No one in the stables every glances my way once they’ve gawked over my eye for the first time. I don’t understand…I’m just like them I just have one tiny problem.
In a farm there are many animals. Surrounded by cows, chickens, horses, ducks, dogs, pigs, and sometimes even spiders. In this farm there is one special pig. What makes him so special is the color of his skin. All the other pigs color is pink, but for him that’s not the case, his skin color is white with black spots and almost looks like a cow. The other animals don’t like this pig because of his different skin. They believe its okay not to talk to him and discriminate him because of it. He does everything else the same as a pig would do but just looks different.
The pig doesn’t doesn’t understand why the other animals are treating him this way. They just give him an eye and wander off. What if everyone in the world looked the same and did everything the same. The the beauty of the world we live in is that we are surrounded by many different people and different things. Difference is what makes the world so great and powerful. And for this pig he is the same as every other pig on the farm.
There was a lizard, which had a best friend. They were best friends. One day, they went to the mall and the lizard wanted to buy a pink shirt, but her fiend already had it. The lizard didn’t know that her friend had it. Then her friend started saying to her friends that she was only trying to be like her, and she told her to get something else. The lizard was really sad, and started crying. Then she realized that her “best friend” was really selfish and she wasn’t a real friend because if she would be a real friend she wouldn’t mind they both had the same shirt, in stead she would of love it, because the means they even share the same taste on picking clothes!!!
A few miles away from Hollyfarm exists starving cows and chickens; cows and chickens that didn’t have the luck of getting chosen, or simply given the opportunity. And with every opportunity being gone and no where to go, they find themselves stranded and stuck in the ghetto-farm. They are stuck, and struggle to find a way to make it through that day. In everyday hope feels so close, yet it is untouchable.
These cows and chickens try and try so hard, however there is no help. The other more luckier cows and chickens are so different and very diverse, although they have something common. They can all help. Some cows or chickens help, however many stand back and watch.
These animals are animals, genetically, meaning that they are all the same type. However, because of their different luck they are very different. How can they not see that they are all the same race. How can they stand back and watch their brothers and sisters suffering, and still not help them? Most are self centered and think only about themselves.
Long ago in the farthest depths of time, in the beginning of existence, great beings of pure power traveled through the black infinity, forever being nomads and growing. Traveling from one place to another at any instance, feasting on power of stars, bloated Red Giants, and fires so intensely hot they burned blue, the beings of power stole their energy and life until the stars were destroyed.
Over Eons of time, life was created in many different ways on many different planets. Breaking down organic elements to create simple acids and organic compounds, Organisms traveling through space on asteroids and colliding with other planets. Eventually some of the earliest intelligent species traveled the stars. Some of these civilizations that grew (without Disappearing)
learned language, Physics, and sciences of life. Not all of these civilizations were lucky enough to have a beautiful home such as ours…
An acculturation on the rim of a solar system was cursed on their planet. Dark skies, Twisting and burning storms, the slow planets rotation caused all the people to be stained a transparent grey. No crops were strong enough to exist long enough to help the people. They learned what they were able to, and used what they had.
As the beings of power traveled through the rifts of space, they also evolved. Some still devouring stars, some thriving off the life of ancient civilization. One of the beings was dying. Too small to absorb most stars. It trudged through space and eventually came accross the dark planet. The being observed from afar and learned their language. Eventually it revealed itself to the tortured people. The people were thin enough to see their ribs and spines, long arms, scarred faces and bodies. the people listened to the being with great fixation. The being saw this as an opportunity to use his powers to devour the people and their planet, so the being itself may live on. The being promised the people a great and bright afterlife if they sacrificed themselves unto the being. The people debited with one another and eventually war broke out among them. Hundreds of thousand died by war or suicide for the God. The people eventually submitted and started to create artifacts and structures dedicated to the C’tan. The C’tan People named the people “The Tormen” he also took a mortal form that resembled the people.
One day a tower from the sky landed onto their planet, and an alien emerged from its metal doors. Another species of people, dressed in beautiful white robes and gems. The foreign people could not stay on the hostile planet for long do to their diminishing health. The people greeted each other with good intentions and happiness. Just before the beautiful people left, they offered the others to live on their beautiful home planet. The Grey people were over joyed, and prepared to leave as fast as they could. After a few days of preparing, getting as many families as they could together, and gathered at the biggest altar to say goodbye to this accursed land.
The C’tan was not happy about this at all. The Tormen were promised to him for his own salvation and just as they were about to board the immense alien ship, the C’tan destroyed it. A bolt of lightning from its hand and the Craft to Freedom went up in flames. The C’tan ran through the crowd if terrified people and slit the throats of the aliens. “You will never leave. You belong to me.” Said the C’tan. “I promised you a far better future than they ever could. You tried to abandon me; your planet and your God? Such beings that can not thrive on the land upon which they were created should not even exist. Now you see that there are those who bear robes and jewels who pity those in pain.” The C’tan’s words put the Tormen in a state of realization, disappointment, and jealousy. The C’tan could see the jealousy of the other people in their eyes. “Why is it not you who holds the planets of beauty and fortune? And these who will whore their home to any other race to corrupt it. That is why I give unto you the ability to take what is being abused, by force.”
The people received powerful gauss weaponry and full body armors from the God, in preparation of the upcoming war. The C’tan felt even more powerful with this new army under his control, and became a fried to the people, helping them with sciences, gathering exotic elements, and unnatural gifts. His greatest gift: immortality to those who devoted their lives to his control. Their lives forever bonded to their amour.
The war against the Old Ones was shorter than thought. The Tormen stormed through the capitol cities, burned the shining white buildings to the ground, Gauss rifles tearing apart the old ones atom from atom while the C’tan stole the civilians for his own strength. The Tormen now moving from planet to planet, blank minds, destroying any civilization that had it better than them…
Once upon a time there was a monkey named Gobofango. He lived in a jungle with a whole neighborhood of monkeys. Gobo was an okay monkey, but he had a serious problem. The guy did not know how to share. For this reason, all the other neighborhood monkeys had only anger for him. Like any other monkey, Gobofango LOVED bananas. But when Gobo was just a little monkey, he was separated from both of his parents. He had to learn to take care of himself, find his own shelter, protect himself, and find his own food. He was just a little guy, so everyone would always take his bananas from him. Gobo began stashing his bananas so he always had enough, and he’s been doing that ever since.
Unfortunately, in this specific neighborhood of monkeys, there is a shortage of bananas. So the other monkeys would very much appreciate it if Gobofango would share some of his giant stash. But gobo did not understand. Until one day, a very small, sweet little monkey named Sewzee became very hungry and could not find any bananas. So she marched up to Gobo and, very politely, explained the shortage of bananas. She explained that she is too small to fight for her own bananas, and this shortage is causing families a lot of trouble, everyone is struggling to just barely get what they need. Then everyone sees Gobofango over here with all the bananas he could ever need, and still fighting for more.
Gobofango listened and took this all in. He looked at little Sewzee, and she reminded him of how he used to be. This made him realize how selfish he was being. So he told little Sewzee that he would share his bananas, as well as stop taking so many. Everyone was so happy and thankful to Gobo. They were also so proud of little Sewzee for the courage she had. All the monkeys promised they would never try to take her bananas again.
Max was the protector of the farm. He was engeretic, strong and fast. He was the farmer’s loyal friend. It came to pass that the farm came under attack by wolves from distant lands. Max left with the other dogs from the farm to defend the home he loved. The farm’s freedom was at stake. Max was gone for years and it seemed the farmer forgot about him.
Max returned wounded and robbed of his prime. He returned to the farm he once loved and protected. The farmer tried to find work for Max, but he was too injured to work. Over time the farmer forgot about Max.
Max was now homeless and wondering from place to place. He begged for food and rested under a bridge with the other dogs who had fought valiantly for the farm. Max was unloved, unwanted and lonely.
